With HybridCore® CFRP rolls, we have broken all previous limits for surface coatings on conventional CFRP rolls. By combining a highly rigid CFRP core with an ultra-thin stainless steel shell, we open up almost unlimited possibilities for the surface coating of CFRP rolls with otherwise virtually unchanged mechanical and dynamic properties. With the right choice of shell material, possible limitations due to chemically aggressive environments are also a thing of the past.
