WINDING MANDRELS

Our standard winding mandrels for the manufacture of glass- (GRP) or carbon fiber-reinforced (CFRP) tube constructions using the winding process are typically based on our single shell designs for rolls and have a corresponding pin/bottom design to meet the specific requirements of the mold release process. The mandrels are designed either with cylindrical or slightly conical surfaces, depending on customer requirements. Low degrees of bending under a dead load, the best possible balance and mold tolerances, in combination with high-quality surfaces, guarantee the stable series production of GRP or CFRP semifinished products for a wide variety of end-use applications.
